Create this whimsical, scrappy improv tree that you can raw-edge appliqué onto pillows, sweatshirts, t-shirts, tote bags — or anything you want to make extra festive for the holiday season!

 

This project is made by cutting strips of fabric and layering them on a foundation fabric.  The raw edges of the fabric are exposed, creating a fringed effect when washed and dried.  

 

This PDF download includes two templates, small and large.  Small tree measures approximately 11" wide (at bottom of tree) and 13" tall.  The large tree measures approximately 13-1/2" wide (at bottom of tree) and 15" tall.   The small tree is shown on the sweatshirt in photo; large tree is shown on the pillow.

 

Upon purchase, you will receive the PDF file for download.  Templates must be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper and assembled (four pieces of paper each).
