The Side-Tie version includes two length options so you can make it fit your style. This pattern is great for taking those “orphan” quilt blocks that you don’t know what to do with and transforming them into something wearable!

Virginia Vest - Paper
To make the Virginia Vest, you can upcycle an already completed quilt, or create unique patchwork pieces and quilt them. The minimum dimensions of quilted “fabric” required for each size are indicated in the chart below. Note that if you’re using a finished quilt and want to fussy cut specific areas of it for the vest, a larger sized quilt may be needed.
