Class Pack - Fringed Tea Towels - Two Class Variations
The Fringed Tea Towel is a great beginner-level class to add to your studio’s calendar. This project is especially popular during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, as tea towels make fantastic holiday gifts.
The no-embroidery version of this class is easy to fill, as it is only a two-hour class and the materials required are low-cost.
For sewing machine dealers, the with-embroidery version of this class is effective in generating interest in embroidery machines. The bottom portion of the tea towel is the perfect palette for a small embroidery design such as a monogram.
- List this class as a “Make + Take Embroidery Project”. This approach gets students excited to use your embroidery machines and leads to machine sales.
- The project is designed to be simple and approachable — students embroider a design on the accent fabric first, then easily transform it into a finished fringed tea towel.
